Coach Garry used to be underweight. When he was young, He suffered from broken clavicle (collar bone) in a martial art practice, with serious shoulder injury, he faced difficulty straightening up his arm trying to reach the sky, whenever he lifted up his arm to wear a t-shirt, he felt an excruciating sharp pain at the shoulder, this is a distressing experience that he need to face daily. He also experienced large pain while sleeping side way.

Because no operation can be done, the doctor can only advised him to wear a sling to keep the arm and shoulder from moving, by consuming pain killer and this painful suffer ended after 6months.
He discovered life isn't the same as before, performing just one repetition of push up or dumbells chest press would cause the shoulder to click with pain. A simple arm swing during running makes him felt "electrical shocked feeling" at the shoulder muscles. Due to inability to exercise or move around fast. He soon became overweight and weigh 92kg. His daily lifestyle is being affected, example, carrying heavy grocery bag less than 5minutes caused his Shoulder in pain and numb.
In 2006, Garry started pursuing fitness knowledge and certified himself with necessary sports and rehabilitation infromations to help himself. He has successfully healed from shoulder impringement and is now lean weighing 70kg, height 171cm.
